Bone syrup clock done gone bad – just a few of the things I saw.
Thursday, January 10, 2002
“Gather round young children for I have something for you.” The children did look up at their grandfather, wide eyed and in ore. A low burbling emanated from the old man’s rear end. “Cop that you little shits,” Granddad huffed as he waved his hand round his bottom to facilitate the even distribution of the pungent odor amongst his descendants. One of the children described the smell of rotten eggs when retelling the events of that fateful day – the thing legends are made of.

I’m half way through reading “fa fa fa fa fa fa – The Adventures of Talking Heads in the 20th Century” by David Bowman, a Xmas present. It just reminds me how great their first four albums were and especially Fear of Music & Remain in Light, both produced by Brian Eno. If you have forgotten about the Heads or just never got there, I recommend you get hold of the four. I didn’t realise how much Tina and David never got along. I’ll report back once I’ve finished the book.
